The warranty period for non-infill artificial turf is not governed by one universal industry standard. In the market, product warranties commonly range from 5 to 8 years, while some professional systems may offer 8 years or longer, depending on the product, application, climate, installation, and contractual terms.
It is also important to distinguish warranty period from expected service life. A warranty defines the manufacturer’s responsibility for specified product defects during a stated period; it does not mean the turf will necessarily need replacement when the warranty expires.
For buyers, the most important question is therefore not simply “How many years is the warranty?”, but “What exactly does the warranty cover, under what conditions, and how is a warranty claim evaluated?”
